Two AGV systems for ABB

AGVE has received an order for two AGV systems from ABB in Norway. One system will include 3 tailored A4 FL’s and the other system is supplied with a high lifting A8 with side-loading telescopic forks. AGVE already has one system with A4 FL’s running at ABB.

ABB is a leader in power and automation technologies that enable utility, industry, transport and infrastructure customers to improve their performance while lowering environmental impact. The ABB Group of companies operates in roughly 100 countries and employs about 140,000 people.

Delivery will take place during the fourth quarter of 2016

AGV system for Elkem

The AGVE Group has received an order for a 2 vehicle AGV-system of A4 FLs for Elkem in Norway.

Elkem is one of the world’s leading companies for environmentally responsible production of materials. Its principal products are silicon, silicones, ferrosilicon, foundry alloys, carbon materials and microsilica. The company has four business areas with a 2015 turnover of NOK 14.5 billion. Elkem has approximately 3600 employees worldwide.

The LogiMAT 2016 fair turned out to be a big succes for AGVE

At the beginning of March AGVE attended the LogiMAT 2016 at Stuttgart, THE international fair for the logistic sector. With its 43.466 visitors the fair turned out to be a big success, also for AGVE. During these 3 inspiring days, AGVE found the possibility to conversate with international professionals from the logistic sector and inspire them with our Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) solutions. Furthermore, we showed interested visitors the benefits of an AGV and demonstrated this with one of our Self Driving Fork Trucks.

We are very satisfied with this successful outcome and would like to thank all our visitors for your interest.

AGV system for Van Genechten Packaging, Kempten

The AGVE Group has received an order for a 4 vehicle system of A4 FLC’s from Van Genechten in Germany. Van Genechten Packaging is a leading independent packaging company providing custom folding carton products with an annual turnover of MEUR 300 (2014) and it employs about 1500 people in the group.

Delivery will take place during the third quarter of 2016

 

AGV system for Plastal

AGVE has received an order for an extension to the existing 19 special AGVs system at Plastal in Sweden. Plastal is a leading supplier of engineered plastics to the automotive industry. Plastal, part of the Plasman Group since 2016, manufactures and surface-treats exterior and interior plastic components. It has an annual turnover of close to 2,000 Million SEK and employs about 900 people in the group.

Delivery and commissioning will take place during the second quarter of 2016

AGV system for Systemair

The AGVE Group has received an order for a 4 vehicle AGV system of A4 FL’s from Systemair in Denmark. Systemair is one of the leading players in the global ventilation industry with subsidiaries in 49 countries in Europe, North & South America. Systemair has 4,800 employees and had an annual turnover of about of SEK 6.1 billion in the financial year 2015/16.

Delivery will take place during the fourth quarter of 2016

AGV system for Swisslog

AGVE has received an order for an extension of an existing AGV system from Swisslog. Swisslog is a global supplier of integrated logistics and automated solutions for warehouses, distribution centers and healthcare facilities with an annual turnover of about M€ 550 (2014) and has about 2300 people working in the group.

The end customer is a world leading provider of coffee and coffee related products.

Delivery will take place during the second quarter of 2016

AGV system for Swisslog

AGVE has received an order for an AGV system from Swisslog. Swisslog is a global supplier of integrated logistics and automated solutions for warehouses, distribution centers and healthcare facilities with an annual turnover of about M€ 550 (2014) and has about 2300 people working in the group.

The AGV system will be installed in several steps and finally include 8 vehicles of the A4 FL and A10 FLS type.

The end customer is a world leading player within the pharmaceutical industry

AGVE will attend the LogiMAT 2016 in Stuttgart (Germany)

AGVE will be present at the LogiMAT 2016 in Stuttgart (Germany), THE international fair for the logistic sector. In 2015, more than 1100 businesses at home and abroad presented themselves on this international platform where professionals from over more than 60 countries were present. The LogiMAT 2016 promises an increase in both exhibitors and visitors.

During this event the innovative technologies, products, systems and solutions for the rationalization, process optimization and cost reduction in the logistic sector will be the point of focus. AGVE will obviously take part: with more than 30 years of development in the AGV technology and an installed base of more than 2000 self-driving fork-trucks, we present how we help our customers with their intralogistic problems.

With our AGV solutions, we offer a safer workspace with a higher flexibility against lower costs.

The event will take place from 8 until 10 March 2016 in Neue Messe, Stuttgart, Germany.

AGVE Group is establishing a new operating company in United Kingdom

AGVE Group is establishing a new operating company to sell, implement and service customers in United Kingdom. The company will be AGVE Limited.

Neil Smith will head up this company and will be responsible for all AGVE activities in UK. The initial focus will be on business development by promoting the AGVE brand, making potential customers aware of AGVE’s capabilities and turning building relationships into AGVE customers. UK is a large market having the third biggest population in Europe with significant industrial and distribution sectors.

Neil Smith graduated in Engineering from Birmingham University, UK and is a Chartered Engineer. He started his career working in technical and management positions in paper manufacturing for the Arjo Wiggins group from where he moved to manage major capital plant and equipment implementations for the Daily Mail print operations. Neil then led the European Operations for FMC Technologies Automated Systems (Now JBT) who make and sell automated guided vehicles systems around the world. Since, 2008 Neil has run a consultancy business helping a number of AGV companies and component suppliers with technical and business development, setting up new ventures and selling AGV systems. Neil’s business development ability, market knowledge and wide experience of the automated material handling technology puts him in great position to establish and drive forward AGVE’s new UK business.
