Merger of AGVE and SCARABEE LOGISTIC SYSTEMS

AGVE and SCARABEE Logistic Systems, a system integrator with offices in the Netherlands and in Germany, have merged. The companies will operate under the name AGVE and employ over 50 dedicated high skilled engineers (excluding AGV Solutions and AGVeK).

AGVE – one of the pioneers of AGV technology in the 1980’s – has ever since been developing and manufacturing AGV control components, software and vehicles. Featuring an installed base of over 2.500 vehicles in almost every European country and some big customers in Asia and the USA, AGVE has become one of the larger AGV suppliers.

SCARABEE Logistic Systems has been a system integrator since 1987 realizing highly automated logistic systems like High Bay Warehouses, Sorter systems and AGV systems with full service & support during their operational life time.

Both companies will continue the ongoing projects, aftermarket contracts and quotations as usual. All offices, productions sites and employees will stay within the group.

“SCARABEE’s existing fine project and service organisation fits perfectly with our vehicle manufacturing and software development divisions” says Jakob Dannemark, AGVE’s CEO. “Through this merger we can offer the market a one-stop-shop for AGV systems. We will: design the logistical concept, build the AGV‘s, implement them at the customer’s site and service them their entire life time”

“Having our own AGV development and production allows us to respond to the request we received in the past years from the market:  high quality and short delivery time at a competitive price” states Twan Schellekens CEO of Scarabee logistic systems.

The AGVE group is present across the world with offices in Europe, North America and South Korea.
